Little Helpers

It seems our children have decided that they want to be our little helpers.  Which is adorable, funny and entertaining all at the same time.

Jax has started to bring the girls' food bowls to us when he decides it time for them to eat.  He loves to watch us put the food in the bowls and give them their treats and medicines.  Last night, he held onto one side of the bowl while I held the other as we delivered the food to their eating places.  This morning, he put the treats in the bowls and delivered Rosie's to her all by himself.  He had a little help with LJ's but he managed to do it mostly on his own.

Liam has been helping us feed the girls for a long time now.  However, recently, he has started setting the kitchen table.  He lays the napkins on the table for me, daddy and himself.  (Jax is still in the ripping up and eating napkin faze so he doesn't get his own yet.)  Then I hand him the silverware and he lays them on top of the napkins.  He is always so proud of himself.

This morning, though, Liam stepped it up a notch.  Jax was taking a nap, I was getting ready to go running, Liam was watching a movie and Brent was getting ready to unload the dishwasher.  Liam bolted off the couch, went running into the kitchen and helped Brent unload the dishwasher.  It went well and was fun for 2 minutes or so and then the novelty wore off.  But, he still helped!

These little guys are so much fun.  I can't wait to see all that they will get into together and all the fun we will have together.  I just wonder what they are going to want to help us with next!
