My heart turned to jelly...

Our bedtime ritual is always a bath, followed by lotion and getting into pjs.  After I got Jaxie all dressed, I gave him a hug and asked him for a kiss.  He gave me one that resembled a real kiss not an alligator trying to eat its prey.  I told him I love him and he looked at me and said, "Luh voo!" 

I'm now sitting here trying to put into words the emotions that I experienced right then and I can't come up with any to do that moment justice.  I think my knees got a little weak, my heart melted a little and there might have been a little tearing up.  Oh, what an incredible memory...hearing my baby tell me that he loves me for the first time!
