Our boys have been FIGHTING sleep lately. So, we are getting creative and giving in....and I detest giving in.
Tonight and at naptime yesterday Liam slept with the Spider-Man umbrella that he didn't get for Christmas. I only had one umbrella for two children so we decided not to have that battle. Yesterday, he saw it in my closest and it has become his constant companion.
Jax has been exerting his 2 year old independence at bedtime. He must have in his possession: 2 nite nites (blankets and they have to be the right ones), 2 pacis (1 green & 1 blue), gorilla, orangutan, the book(s) if his choice, his shoot gun (made from tinker toys), his pillow & possibly his piggy bank. Yes, Jax is in the middle of his floor on a pallet. The bed was not cutting it last night. Look closely you will be able to see almost everything from the list above. The rest was there too but it wasn't visible in the picture!
