Our good friends, the McGraths, are moving to Hutto, TX. Chances are we will see them more than we see them now....at least, I'm hoping! Explaining a going away party to a 3 year old though is very daunting especially when he loves his friend, Pax, who is moving away. So, in the Candler house, we just refer to Pax moving as "Pax is going on an adventure!" We got together to celebrate and to wish our friends well last weekend. Traci also posted pictures. Click

It was so much fun to see friends from college. Many we still see on a regular basis but our group of 12 couples (24 adults if multiplication tables were never your thing) has now grown. Instead of their being just 24 adults, there are also 23 kids running around and one on the way. It was quite a sight to see. It was fun to be able to let our kids run around and know that there were lots of eyes that I trust on them. I didn't always feel like I had to count to two over and over again! To say that our group took over the park is an understatement. It was so much fun and something that we need to do every few months!
Our campus minister's goal for us in college was to marry us off to each other and then for us to have lots of little future Aggies. He is so proud!

Liam informed me that "I love this baby." So, I asked if he wanted
another baby just to see what he would say (it's not going to happen not
matter what he wants!). He adamantly informed me that "NO! I don't
want a baby!" Whew, what a relief! :o) |

It's good to have tall friends who can assist with pine cone picking! Liam has also told us that he's going to grow up to be big and tall like Nate. We'll hope he makes it to 5' 11" let alone 6' 8". |

I wish I would have gotten a picture of each individual family but if everyone's kids were like mine, as soon as they were out of their car seats they took off running to the play ground. It was so much fun and I missed so many good pictures but we'll always have the memories. Ahhhhh....and there's the cheese!
