"Carving" Pumpkins

I read about a different way to carve pumpkins and thought that Liam and I would give it a shot.  It was lots of fun.  He had a blast picking them out, paying for them, conning me into buying a mum, loading them up into the van, riding on the wagon and taking them home to carve them.

He was on board for everything until I asked him to help me clean them out.  He was not impressed with the guts and wouldn't touch it.  And didn't even want it near him.  I'm guessing we won't be paying for medical school!  He did enjoy carving the pumpkins with the drill though!  I read about this on the Play at Home Mom blog.  It was a hit until he got tired of drilling holes!  The pumpkins are great though and it was much more fun for him since there is no way he is going to carve a pumpkin with a real knife!

Here are our pictures from start to finish.

Liam loved every pumpkin.  We cam home with 6 & he had to put at least that many back!

Making sure they don't bounce off the wagon.

He also had to smell every huge mum they had.
