Panties vs Underwear

We had my best friend and her family over last weekend to catch up, have dinner and to let our kids play.  They have a little girl, Emma, who is only 9 days older than Liam.  The kids had a great time playing and the adults really did get to have adult conversations.

Liam and Emma are both three and both potty trained except for when they get really excited and busy and forget to take care of business.  The kids were all playing and having a blast when Emma came into the kitchen and told her mommy that she had had an accident.  I gave Tiffany a pair of Liam's underwear and his pants.  What else is there to do?  They have two girls and we have two boys so we just made do with what we had!  No big deal or so we thought.

This is the conversation that took place between Liam and Emma when she came out of the bathroom.  Read this with lots of three year old attitude.

Liam took one look at her and said, "Hey, you have on my pants."

Emma fired right back at him, "And your panties!"

Since three years are well aware of the differences in panties and underwear (who would have known?), Liam countered with, "Boys don't wear panties!"

It was a great laugh and a story that we will be able to tell for a very long time!!!
